Illness
If your child is going to be absent from school please phone the school office on the first day of your child's absence before 9.20 a.m. on 01594 832046 and state the reason for the absence please provide more information than just reporting unwell.
An answer machine is available to take your message early in the morning if necessary. Or email
absence@st-johns.dgat.org.uk
We must be able to contact you if your child is taken ill at school so please ensure that all of your contact details are up to date. This includes a telephone number where you can be reached during the day, and also an additional number for a relative or friend who will act on your behalf if we cannot contact you.
If you move or change your telephone number, please do not forget to let us know.
Medical and Dental Appointments
Parents are requested to make all medical and dental appointments for times outside of school hours where at all possible. If your child does have an unavoidable appointment within school hours please bring the appointment card / letter / text to the school office.
