St John's Church of England Academy forms part of the Diocese of Gloucester Academy Trust.
On 1st December 2020, St John's Church of England Academy transferred from an Interim Governing Body to a Full Governing Board with a new Scheme of Delegation.
As in any school, the governors play an important role in the management of the school. The full governing body meets termly and has two committees covering Standards and Ethos and Finance and Resources. Governors are members of one or the other committee according to their interests or expertise. Minutes of meetings are available to view on request from the school office.
